Abstract Submission

Abstract Submissions are now closed

Abstracts are due by January 31, 2026

You may submit abstracts for:

Poster Presentation: Present your research or project, in a concurrent poster session. Poster presentation content can be early stages or fully realized. Must submit a two page extended abstract, and can submit a full proceedings paper for publication.

Technical Presentation: A formal lecture-style presentation of research or projects. Must submit a two-page extended abstract and can submit a full proceedings paper for publication.

Round Table: An interactive discussion format where organizers can engage audience members in a dialogue on a specific topic, sharing insights and ideas in a collaborative setting. A two-page extended abstract is not required, instead please use the Round Table Proposal template, which also contains more details and guidelines.

Panel: Researchers and practitioners can present their related works in a shared session that will be moderated by their selected session chair and discussant.  A two-page extended abstract is not required, instead please use the Panel Proposal Template, which also contains more details and guidelines.

Workshops: ODAM 2026 welcomes researchers and practitioners to propose a 2- to 3-hour workshop that they would lead, and would consist of content and skills that they feel are relevant to the current and ever-changing nature of work. Workshops will be integrated into the regular conference day. A 2-page extended abstract is not required for this submission type. Instead, use the Workshop Proposal Template, which also contains more details and workshop guidelines.

Submission Requirements:

○ Following acceptance, poster and technical presenters eligible for final conference proceedings papers must submit final materials by January 30, 2026. Submitters can choose to publish a 2-page extended abstract, or a 5-page full conference proceedings paper.

○ At least one coauthor must register to attend and present at the conference.
