Owning Your Impact: Developing Your Student Leadership Identity

Owning Your Impact: Developing Your Student Leadership Identity is a student leadership experience hosted by ISS (First Year Programs & Academic Support) in partnership with the Dean of Students Office. Designed for undergraduate student leaders including mentors, peer educators, student organization leaders, and other students who serve and support their peers, the conference focuses on personal and professional growth through the lens of leadership. 

Through interactive workshops and engaging discussions, participants will explore topics such as leadership identity, inclusive leadership practices, communication and relationship-building, wellness and resilience, career readiness, and community impact. Attendees will leave with practical skills, deeper self-awareness, and a stronger understanding of how their leadership can positively influence the UConn community and beyond.
